art form? Then join us for this two-day class
that begins with a historical introduction and
overview of the classical method of encaustic
painting, followed by a look at its use in the
21st Century demonstrating a variety of ways
encaustic can be used by contemporary artists
today. Using transfer and layering imagery, learn
how to create lines/edges and collage in your
encaustic work and how to incorporate oil and
pigment sticks.
