Sundays in July and August, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Entry Level, $15 per session
Entry level golfers ages 4-8 are encouraged to take part in our Sunday
morning clinics where high energy FUN is on the agenda for one-hour
sessions. Target-oriented games and athletic skill development is designed
to get your junior golfer excited about the game.
Levels I, II & III
Tuesday, June 16th – Thursday, August 13th
Level I: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Level II: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Level III: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Golfers ages 6-16 with previous golf experience are invited to take part
in regular instruction and course play through the summer. Tuesday and
Thursday afternoon training sessions provide a way to measure progress
through three distinct levels of certification.
The Martis Camp Junior Development program helps juniors navigate
through a participatory program where goals are abundant and recognition
is constant. All juniors start with Level I curriculum and testing, regardless
of their ability. After instruction and adequate practice time, a junior’s
abilities are put to the test in areas such as Putting, Around the Green,
Full Swing, Knowledge and Score. Some juniors will progress very quickly
through the early levels, which is a great confidence-builder. Some juniors
will have to apply themselves and practice regularly to pass their current
skill test, a great life lesson!
Cost is $400 per participant which covers all instruction and supervised play
for the season. Participants in the Junior Development Program may come
as often or as little as their schedule permits. Pre-registered guests may
participate at a cost of $45 per “drop-in” session. Drop-in participation does
not constitute participation in the overall program. Drop-in space is limited
so sign up with plenty of advance notice.
