Martis Camp Club is honored to be hosting its first USGA Championship and its members and staff are dedicated to making it a warm and well-organized event. This championship will be successful largely due to your volunteer support and we want you to take pride in being part of such a prestigious and historic championship.

You are welcome to simultaneously volunteer as a caddie as well as for all other volunteer positions but being selected as a caddie may limit your availability for other roles.
Please note that:
Shifts are generally about six hours long. Morning shifts will typically run from 6:00am until noon and afternoon shifts usually will be scheduled for noon until 6pm but may vary depending on assignments.
You will be asked to tell us your preferences for volunteer assignments, dates and shifts when you sign up online, and we will make every effort to match your assignments with your requests. But it will not always be possible to do so. Therefore, we appreciate your flexibility in these circumstances.
We encourage you to sign up for multiple days and time slots. When you volunteer for one or two shifts, you will receive a uniform consisting of one shirt, a hat and a name tag as well as a meal coupon for every shift served. When you volunteer for three shifts or more shifts, you will receive two shirts as well as a wind vest, a hat and a name tag plus a meal coupon for every shift served. Volunteers who complete three or more shifts will also be invited to participate in the volunteer golf day at the Martis Camp Club. To be eligible for the volunteer golf day at Martis Camp Club, volunteers should be willing to fill shift assignments other than their initial choice if needed.
All volunteers must participate in one training session. These will take place on Thursday, July 19 for Registration volunteers and on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 for all other volunteers. Additional information about their exact timing and location will be sent to you at least a month in advance of the tournament.
