Ages 8-10
9:00 a m – 3:00 p m at the Family Barn
$500 per camper (unless otherwise noted)
Drop off at the Family Barn, pick up at the Family Barn
Campers 8-10 years old, get ready for another fun and exciting week at Summer Camp! Art, nature, games, science, swimming and daily adventures are designed for you. Each week has a different theme and activities to coincide provided by Tahoe Institute of Natural Sciences, Tahoe Artists and other local companies. Each day includes lunch and ends with fun in the sun at the Family Barn pool.
Monday, June 18th – Thursday, June 21st: Art in Nature
Use flowers, rocks and natural materials to make art, a paintbrush ... even games!
Monday, June 25th - Thursday, June 28th: Adventure Camp
Tahoe Institute for Natural Sciences leads us in orienteering and adventure activities.
Monday, July 9th – Thursday, July 12th: Barnyard Palooza
Get ready for Barn Olympics and learn about animals living at The Camp.
Monday, July 16th – Thursday, July 19th: Baseball Camp
Presented with San Francisco Baseball Academy ($600)
Learn the game and focus on developing all the skills required to play and understand this fun game – America’s favorite pastime!
Monday, July 23rd – Thursday, July 26th: Create It Camp
Create your very own masterpiece with Martis Camp’s and Truckee’s favorite artists.
Monday, July 30th – Thursday, August 2nd: Astronomy Camp
Presented with Tahoe Star Tours
Join Tony Berendsen as he guides us through our own galaxy and into those beyond the Milky Way.
Monday, August 6th – Thursday, August 9th: Passport to Fun
Silliness, fun, kickball and a belly flop contest! Don’t miss this week of camp!
Monday, August 13th – Thursday, August 16th: Exploring Tahoe
Go beyond The Camp and explore new places in the Truckee/Tahoe region.

Monday, June 25th – Thursday, June 28th: Adventure Camp (drop off at the Lake Tent)
From biking to hiking to kayaking, experience some of summer’s best activities.
Monday, July 9th – Thursday, July 12th: Soccer Camp
Presented with UK Soccer (drop off at the Sports Field)
Develop soccer conditioning and skills to play on your school team.
Monday, July 16th – Thursday, July 19th: Backpacking
Presented with Tahoe Adventure Company
Day 1: 9:00 a m – 3:00 p m at the Family Barn
Day 2: 9:00 a m Drop off at the Family Barn for two nights camping in the backcountry Day 3: Hike and camp in the backcountry
Day 4: Return to Martis Camp and pick up at the Family Barn at 3:00 p m
Explore the Tahoe region on this three-day hiking and camping adventure.
Please note, backpacking gear is required for this trip including a hiking backpack, sleeping bag, warm clothes, water bottle, hiking shoes, etc.
Monday, July 23rd – Thursday, July 26th: Culinary Camp ($500)
Try new cuisines, enjoy a Farm Fresh day with Stella restaurant, and learn about desserts and pastries.
Monday, July 30th – Thursday, August 2nd: Sailing Camp
Monday, August 6th – Thursday, August 9th: Sailing Camp
Develop sailing skills and learn about boating safety on a shared Laser Pico.
Monday, August 13th – Thursday, August 16th: Exploring Tahoe
Enjoy off-property adventures around Lake Tahoe with lunch provided.
